Come with a photograph and no idea what is possible. That is my favourite start.

I trained on Place Vendôme, which taught me the standard, and then opened my own bench because I wanted to talk to the person wearing the piece.

I hand-chase gold, which means the surface is worked with a hammer and punches rather than cast and polished. It is slow and it is why the leaves look the way they do.

Nine years in and I still take on work that frightens me a little. Tell me what you want even if you cannot draw it.
