Getting found
Do jewelry directories actually work?
Updated September 2026
A jewelry directory works when it gives you a page search engines index and buyers can reach you from directly, and most fail one or both tests. Before you pay for any listing, run these four checks.
The four checks
- Your profile has its own URL with your name in the page title, and it is actually indexed. Search site:theirsite.com your name and see.
- It links to your website with a real link, not a redirect through their tracking.
- The inquiry reaches your inbox, not their sales pipeline or a form that goes nowhere.
- The math clears. A year of listing should cost less than your margin on a single job.
“My own site already ranks”
Then a directory is incremental, and that is exactly the point. Your site is one result. Search now assembles answers from several sources, and AI assistants name jewelers from the pages they can read across the web. A listing that passes the checks is one more indexed page carrying your name, your city and your work, catching searches your site doesn’t. A listing that fails them is a backlink in a graveyard. How the whole visibility picture fits together is in how to get your jewelry brand found.
Trade lists are a different thing
Guild and association member pages are worth having for the credential alone, whatever their traffic. It is the paid directories that deserve the checklist.
Where we stand
We built 1000 Jewellers to pass all four checks: an indexed page under your name, a real link to your site, inquiries straight to your email, $49 a month against jobs that run four figures. We verify every business we list and refund you in full if we cannot list yours.
